Joe Sugg has admitted he sometimes feels he was happier when he was a roof thatcher.
The 30-year-old, the brother of online star Zoella, had a roofing job before he found fame on YouTube and said that life gave him a "solid structure".
Talking about burnout on The Diary Of A CEO podcast, Sugg said around 2016 or 2017 he had a lot going on with online channels and a book coming out

"I had such a solid structure - up at this time, go to work until this time, go back, unload the straw, load up the van again, go and see my Nan and give her the paper, go home, go to the gym and then that was it."
The star was asked if he was happier back then, and replied: "There's been a lot of times throughout my life where I've looked back and I've thought that was (happier), I think just because of the structure."
However, Sugg also said he was happy with the route he'd eventually gone down.
After finding fame on YouTube, Sugg went on to appear on TV shows like Would I Lie To You and The One Show.
In 2018, he was one of the contestants on Strictly and was partnered with professional dancer Dianne Buswell.

The divide between blue and white collar work has grown more fluid with the rise of social media — if one is personable enough, certain physical jobs can help build an audience, monetize it and bring in serious money. One of the most visible examples is lumberjack-turned-entrepreneur Thoren Bradley. The aesthetics of seeing huge logs being chopped to pieces by a hunky guy quickly gained an audience and, to date, Thoren's TikTok account has 5.7 million followers.
House of the Dragon has received criticism for its lack of a trigger warning before its dramatic first episode. HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel was watched by a record-breaking international audience when it premiered earlier this week, but drew criticism on social media for including, without warning, a fatal birthing scene. In the episode, King […]
The announcement of Kelli Giddish’s exit from Law & Order: SVU after 12 seasons sent shockwaves through the L&O online community yesterday. Giddish has appeared in the long-running crime drama series as the beloved Detective Amanda Rollins since 2011, but will now depart in the newest season.

To get a sense of just how much Amazon is betting the house on its Lord of the Rings TV series, consider this: Peter Jackson’s Oscar-hoarding trilogy of JRR Tolkien’s revered fantasy novels cost $281 million to make. Amazon Prime Video, by contrast, has spent $250 million alone on the rights to Tolkien’s work. But not, however, the rights to The Lord of the Rings. Or The Hobbit. Or The Silmarillion or Bilbo’s Last Song or The Adventures of Tom Bombadil. Jeff Bezos’s cool quarter-billion allows A

Well, it only took seven film and television projects, but we finally have an acknowledgment of the dead Celestial sticking out of the ocean in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The events of Eternals got a blink-and-you'll-miss-it shoutout in the second episode of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law shortly after Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) loses her job as the deputy district attorney of Los Angeles following the courtroom brawl with Titania (Jameela Jamil) in last week's season premiere. **SPOILER
She-Hulk Episode 2 has a lot of fun Easter eggs, but the one I can't stop thinking about is the subtle reference to Wolverine from the X-Men. Just another detail that all but confirms the X-Men could be making their way to the MCU soon.View Entire Post ›

Kelli Giddish’s upcoming “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” exit was not her choice, nor was it a decision made by showrunner David Graziano, Variety has learned. According to multiple sources, the “SVU” shake-up was a call made from above, with one insider noting that the company is always looking to keep the show as […]

In some ways, when God closes a door he really does open a window. Although viewers and creators of HBO Max alike overwhelmingly lament the crippling layoffs and content eradication that’s become the norm ahead of a merger with Discovery+, there are those individuals who don’t see the changes as a bad thing at all. At the top of the list: Elizabeth Hannah, the daughter of controversial pastor and diet maven Gwen Lara Shamblin. The story of Shamblin’s Weigh Down Workshops, and her eventual Remnan
